Lamborghini Gallardo
Named after a fighting bull the Gallardo is everything a true sports car should be.
The Lamborghini Gallardo has a massive V10 engine roaring a few centimetres behind your head so you don't need music from the exotic audio system and you can hear no wind noise and no hum of outside traffic. It is all about you and the car. On the open road, one brief press of the accelerator and the car erupts instantaneously. Together with the perfect definition of suspension, weight distribution, centre of gravity and aerodynamic characteristics, the achievement of high body stiffness is fundamental to obtain optimal car dynamics and driving enjoyment even on long trips.
Given the Gallardo is from Italy, with German parents, it is not hard to see why it responds so well to open roads and tight city streets. Note there is not great visibility out of the rear window in this car. Lamborghini clearly believes that you will be at the front of the pack with no need to check out those trying to keep pace - yet front and side visibility are reasonable.
