This car puts Audi on the Supercar map and is the most anticipated car of 2007.
Named after the Le Mans winning Audi racecar, this car boasts a lighweight aluminium frame, Quattro four-wheel drive and a 420 HP V8. Like practically no other sports car the R8 offers the feeling of direct control over almost limitless power. A dry sump version of the RS4's engine is used which allows Audi to push the engine lower to the ground, while the two-step direct injection provides for more power and better fuel economy.
Despite being only available in limited numbers in Australia, the Club has secured 2 of the first release of R8 Supercars. You have to try this car.
