Ariel Atom

Ariel is one of the oldest names in British motoring history. Drawing on a 100 year heritage, the Atom is a completely unique car built purely for outright performance and dedicated to serious fun.

A true minimal sports car with race bred construction and components, the Atom is the first new vehicle to bear the Ariel name in 27 Years. This is design with a purpose. The exposed tubular chassis puts the engineering on display. Influenced by race cars, motorcycles and aircraft, the Atom was designed around driver and mechanical components – form following function and engineering dictating aesthetic.

Developed using sophisticated computer modelling and testing techniques the chassis offers more interior space, strength and protection than any other car in its class. The unique safety levels afforded by the high side rails and lack of doors are complemented by integral front and rear rollover tubes giving a driver and passenger safety cell. The bare chassis is a work of art and the welding is immaculate.

Not for the faint of heart, but every member needs to try this car at least once.
